Harold F. Grooms, M.D. 

Dr. Grooms is a board certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, delivering babies and giving women excellent medical care in Fresno for more than 24 years. Along with his exceptional experience, Dr. Grooms is committed to his continuing education and is very knowledgeable in the latest surgical techniques and women’s health care options. Dr. Grooms' has vast experience in high risk obstetrics.

Dr. Grooms’ is also certified in a new hysterectomy technique called LSH that promises a faster recovery time, 2 weeks instead of 6-8 weeks, with less pain. Dr. Grooms’ is also available for cosmetic vaginal surgery, including labiaplasty , vaginoplasty and hymen repair.

Recently Dr. Grooms was featured on TLC’s “Maternity Ward” show, which has been broadcast nationwide numerous times. Originally from Georgia, Dr. Grooms graduated from medical school from the University of Pittsburgh and trained as a resident at Bethesda hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Margie Downing, CNM

Margie has been providing care to patients for over 30 years in Fresno and Fresno County. She joined the staff of Dr. Groom's office in April 2006, and immediately immersed herself in the needs of her patients. Margie is delighted to be able to address all women’s health care concerns and looks forward to meeting new patients.

LaSonya Davis , NP

LaSonya Davis was pleased to join the staff of Dr. Grooms’ office in 2007.  Well versed in Obstetrical care as a hospital staffer and in private practice, she is a welcome addition to the ongoing women’s healthcare program provided in Dr. Grooms’ offices.
